Xining is building a carbon fiber industrial park to create a complete industrial chain ecosystem.

Recently, the construction plan for the "park within a park" of the Xining Carbon Fiber Specialized Industrial Park was officially announced. The park will focus on the application of carbon fiber in new energy, sports equipment, and rail transportation, building a complete industrial chain ecosystem integrating R&D, production, and recycling to promote high-quality regional industrial development.

According to the head of the park's management committee, Xining, leveraging its clean energy advantages and industrial support policies, has already attracted several leading carbon fiber companies to settle in the area. Among them, the world's first and largest single-unit, full-process carbon fiber production base has achieved an annual output of 25,000 tons of high-performance carbon fiber. The newly planned specialized park will focus on industrialization demonstration projects such as carbon fiber sports equipment manufacturing and new energy supporting applications. Leveraging the brand effect of the local sports industry, it will promote the development of high-value-added products such as carbon fiber bicycles, sports helmets, and golf clubs. Simultaneously, the park will also construct a waste carbon fiber composite material recycling and processing center to achieve closed-loop resource utilization.

Data shows that Xining's carbon fiber industry has already achieved a certain scale of agglomeration, with the localization rate of key equipment exceeding 95%. Industry insiders believe that the construction of the specialized park will further integrate industrial chain resources, reduce enterprise production costs, improve industrial synergy efficiency, help Xining build a nationally important carbon fiber industrial base, and promote the optimization and upgrading of the regional economic structure.
